Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Tuesday evening visited the family of the late Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Manager Chris Msando.

Mr. Odinga condoled with Msando’s Wife, Eva Buyu, and his children.

The NASA flag bearer also sharply condemned the brutal murder of Msando highlighting that it was heartless to take away a father from his children.

Odinga described the manager's killing as an act that has degraded Kenya as a country.

“This evening, I visited the family of the slain IEBC official Chris Msando. It's a heartbreaking and unbearable pain to the young family. It is a Kenyan tragedy.

“No one has a right to tear at the fabric of life which another man has painfully woven for himself and his children. Msando's death has degraded our nation,” Odinga said.

Mr. Msando went missing a few days to the August 8 General Election.

He was later found dead in Kikuyu where his body was dumped alongside a 21-year-old lady identified as Carol Ngumbu.
