Rachel Ruto is no stranger to making bold yet elegant fashion statements, but during the state visit of the Dutch royals on March 18, 2025, it wasn’t just her outfit that stood out—it was her shoes. The Kenyan First Lady stepped out in a pair of brown suede block heels adorned with a gold emblem.

Koome further assured Kenyans that the Police would do everything they can to ensure their safety.

“Where force is required, we shall be governed by the law. The use of force will depend on circumstances.”

The meeting was held at Utalii Hotel and all divisional commanders in Nairobi were in attendance to discuss how to ensure maximum security during this election period.

All tallying centres and polling stations will also be well protected during the elections.
