Celebrated Hope FM presenter and gospel singer Amani Aila is in mourning following the sudden demise of his father.
The seasoned Swahili Christian presenter shared the sad news via his Instagram page, confessing that he will miss his dad dearly.
“I will dearly miss my dad,” shared Amani Aila.
Aila’s father passed on just a day after the radio presenter appealed to the public to help him foot his (Dad) medical bill.

Medical Appeal
“Medical bills are just too expensive in Kenyan; thanks to what I have been going through. My Dad has been previously admitted at Kisumu Avenue Hospital.
"I desired to give my dad the best medical attention he deserves because he has suffered a lot. In Just one week of admission the bill had hit close to Sh,800, 000 and raising the funds was not easy. Thanks to all friends and family who came through for us to raise the said amount,” said Aila in part.
The ‘Shangilia show host went on to explain that his dad was later discharged and transferred to Nairobi. Days later his health deteriorated again and he was rushed to Komarock Modern Hospital but the bill was too high to an extent that they could afford to get him admitted in the High-Dependency Unit (HDU).
“Due to financial constrains I could not get my dad admitted at the HDU, it was very painful signing that form that I could not afford to foot the bill. Even in the private word the medical bill is close to Sh500K ...it is very hard and I love this guy… I’m making this appeal for you to help me raise this money, I’m not used to doing this but if you are in postion to help my numbers are; 0720998223,” he said.
