Former Papa Shirandula comedians Jalang’o and Otoyo are set to launch their own Comedy TV show after taking a long break from TV acting.
According to details from the video shared by Jalang’o the two have been working silently on the new show that will also feature comedian Obinna.
In the comedy show Jalang’o who had good chemistry with Otoyo back in the days when they were part of Citizen TV’s Papa Shirandula will join forces as friends with different jobs unlike when they played brothers.
Obinna will be running a barber shop while Jalang’o will be a tailor and Otoyo a carpenter.
After their stints in the popular TV show Papa Shirandula, the celebrated comedians switched to hosting radio shows and emceeing at corporate events, weddings and private parties.
Jalang’o had a stint at Kiss 100 before he moved to Radio Maisha and later on moved Hot96 where he currently is. Otoyo on the other hand worked for Nation Media Group’s Q-Fm which was closed down before he moved to Milele FM where currently works.
The two have also hosted different shows on different TV stations.
