Deputy President William Ruto and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru on Thursday morning held talks, a day after the Ipsos opinion polls ranking them as the most corrupt leaders in Kenya.
DP Ruto hosted Waiguru and Kirinyaga MCAs at his Karen office.
"Met Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru and MCAs at the Karen office, Nairobi County," Ruto tweeted.
Mr. Ruto divulged that during the talks he promised Ms. Waiguru and leaders that the National Government would support their efforts to enhance service delivery.
"The National Government has offered counties full backing to enhance service delivery including legislative, advisory and monetary support.
"We expect all leaders- MCAs, MPs, senators and governors- to work together and serve the interests of the people,"he said.
On Wednesday, Mr. Ruto and Governor Waiguru rubbished the Ipsos polls noting that it was a political witch hunt by their detractors.
The former Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary vowed to sue the research firm.
