One thing we can be at least thankful for at the beginning of a new year in Kenya is that it’s mango season and who doesn’t love a nice, juicy and sweet mango? A majority of us love the fruit for its sweetness. But, did you know that it’s a pretty healthy one too? That’s right, here are some health benefits of eating mangoes that you should know about:

1. Contain anticancer properties.

The phenolic compound found in mangoes has been found to have powerful antioxidant and anticancer properties.
