A Fly 540 airplane made an emergency landing on Friday at Kapese Airstrip.
The plane is said to have developed mechanical problems and the pilot alerted the airstrip in Turkana before landing.
In a statement, Fly 540 said a foreign object strike led to an engine failure as the plane crash-landed in Kapese airstrip.
The plane operator said the incident will cause delays in their schedule over the next few days.
