Kibabii University has been closed indefinitely following protests from students.

Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that the students started the protests when one of their colleagues got injured in a car accident inside the university.

They are said to have destroyed property of unknown value during the Friday protests.

An official statement from the institution said that the University Senate had resolved to close down the university indefinitely and all students were ordered to vacate the University premises.
