In a move to curb corruption that has marred top government entities, President Uhuru Kenyatta early this year ordered a lifestyle audit on all public servants including heads of finance and accountants.

Instructions

The officers were instructed  to submit their personal information to the office of the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua which aided investigations on how they acquired their wealth.

On Tuesday however, the government produced a list of accountants who have so far passed the test and they got redeployed into different government offices across the country.

They include;

The government had earlier released initial results of the lifestyle audit ordered by the Head of State.

The initial phase of the vetting process had seen 400 senior officials, heading procurement departments and accounting units, cleared.

The order on lifestyle audit

President Kenyatta had on June 1 ordered heads of procurement departments in all ministries and parastatals to proceed on compulsory leave to allow for a thorough lifestyle audit.

Their deputies had taken over in an acting capacity.
