A man claiming to be William Ole Ntimama’s son now wants the former cabinet minister’s body exhumed.
George Kariuki, 60, through amended court documents filed at the Milimani High Court in Nairobi, wants Ntimama’s body to be disinterred for extraction of DNA samples to prove his claims.
Kariuki has maintained that Ntimama was his biological father and said he only knew of the paternity in 1998.
The case will be mentioned on December 20.

Frustrations
Last month, Kariuki went to court to try and stop Ntimama’s burial, but his attempt proved unsuccessful.
Justice Joseph Onguto in his ruling said Njoroge should have done the tests before the former Heritage minster died an instructed that the burial of the respected Maasai leader proceed as planned.
He was later barred from attending both the funeral and burial ceremonies in Nairobi and Narok by security officers who were under strict orders not to grant him access to the venues.
Ntimama was buried at his rural home in Narok county at a ceremony attended by thousands among them President Uhuru Kenyatta, Cord leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and former President Daniel Moi among other Kenyan leaders.
