Masogange passed on at the age of 28 at the Mama Ngoma Mwenge hospital in Dar es Salaam.

Her death came amidst a tasking court battle after she was arrested and charged for drug use.
Two weeks before her death, Agnes had been sentenced to 3 years in jail or pay a fine of 1.5 Tanzanian Shillings after traces of heroin and Oxazepam a psychoactive drug were found in her urine samples.
Agnes Masogange will be buried on Sunday.
