Akothee now says she will eventually throw her hat in the political ring and vie for the Presidency.

However, she says that she will do so only after she turns 60 years old.

Speaking to local media, Akothee said that she will only go for the highest seat in the land as the other elective positions such as Member of the County Assembly, Womans Rep, MP, Senator and Governor are "too small" for her.

Last year, speculations were rife on social media that Akothee would vie for an elective seat during this year's general elections.

A campaign poster had been circulated widely showing Akothee under a Jubilee banner displaying a "Womans Rep for Migori County 2017" message.

However she swiftly denied the claims and termed them as malicious rumours.

“Let somebody warn this person trying to push me to the wall to be careful. Am not a politician, I don’t know any tail or head of politics, I am too young to be stressed. Don’t give me a shoe that isn’t meant for me, leave me alone, let me put on my bikinis and enjoy my life," she said.

Should he venture into politics, Akothee would follow in the footsteps of other celebrities such as Jaguar, Frasha, Mohamed Ali and DJ Kayytrixx.
