Milele FM Head of Radio Alex Mwakideu has explained his absence the radio station.

In a post seen by Pulselive.co.ke, the father of three said that he is has not been feeling well and is in hospital seeking treatment.
He however did not reveal what he was suffering from, but insisted that he would be back to work soon, as he thanked Milele’s afternoon show Bangaiza presenter Chris Bass for standing in for him.

Mwakideu and Jalang’o make one of the best radio duo in Kenya and they command a cult-like following. You can’t talk about radio without mentioning Alex Mwakideu and Jalang’o.
They began their co-hosting journey together while at Standard Group’s Radio Maisha before Jalang’o left for Royal Media Services Hot 96, where he co-hosted alongside Jeff Koinange.
The two later on teamed up in 2018 and took over Mediamax’s Milele FM as breakfast show presenters.
The two presenters also cut the mark on several other aspects and they have been described as one of the most stylish presenters on Kenyan radio.
