Speaking in an interview with the Playlist, the father of four said that the delay has been caused by a new law introduced by the Tanzanian Government.
He went on to say that he could not divulge further into details but there are changes that government requires them to make which include changing the type of cans they use and having them labelled in Swahili.
Alikiba added that it was not only MoFaya that is affected but all energy drinks are affected by the directive.
It’s a new process ndio unaona kama kuna delay lakini tunaishughulikia hio,” said the singer.
MoFaya launch
In April last year, Alikiba surprised invited guests at his wedding after he unveiled his own energy drink.
