Gospel singer Owen Mwatia popularly known as Daddy Owen’s younger brother Slejj has set the record straight saying that Owen’s wife is not married to another man as the media put it.
Slejj accused the media of exaggerating the entire situation stating that the two, Daddy Owen and his wife Farida had issues and that they are not separated.
He mentioned that as a family, they talked about what had happened and had come to an agreement, insisting that everything is settled and everything is good.
“It’s true in a way lakini unajua media mpaka waongeze vitu zao juu. Siwezi sema wameachana na hajaenda kuolewa tena. Kunaweza kuwa na issues kwa watu wanadate ama wako married lakini media huongeza vitu zake… The situation right now is that everything is cool,” said Slejj in an interview with Mzazi Willy M. Tuva.
A few days after several media reports said that Farida had gotten married to a Gilgil based Tycoon, the singer issued a statement saying that he had been going through a hard time for the past few days following the virality of reports that his marriage was on the rocks.
The Vanity hit-maker asked his fans to pray for him as he goes through a challenging season but did not confirm or deny that his wife had walked out of their matrimonial home and was engaged to another man.
