Just lost an uncle to Covid- Ex-K24 Presenter Shiksha Arora as she cautions Kenyans

Former K24 News Anchor cum East FM Presenter Shiksha Arora is mourning the death of her uncle who succumbed to Covid-19.

In a tweet, the Media Personality went on to urge Kenyans to adhered to all the precautionary measures put in place by the Ministry of Health to avoid contracting the deadly virus.

“Just lost an uncle to covid. Please be safe guys. This virus is ruthless” reads Shiksha Arora’s tweet.

Ms Arora’s caution comes at a time Kenya continue to register high Covid-19 positive cases on a daily basis.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Health confirmed 1, 463 news cases of the novel Coronavirus pushing the total number of positive cases in the country to 126,170.

At the same time, the country lost another 26 patients to the disease yesterday, pushing the cumulative fatalities to 2,092.

The last few weeks, Kenya has lost a number of prominent figures to the deadly virus among them; Lorna Irungu, Robin Njogu, Susan Kikwai, Jubilee Party Executive Director James Waweru, ODM’s Jeffer Kassam among others.
