Inspekta Mwala on the spot after killing pedestrian

Actor and radio Citizen presenter Davies Mwabili aka Inspekta Mwala is in hot soup after he hit and killed a pedestrian in Kaloleni, Kilifi County.

According to Kilifi Police commander Patrick Okeri, the actor was driving from Kaloleni town on Mazeras Highway when he hit Samwel Mwaki (35), killing him on the spot. The body of the deceased was taken to Coast General Hospital Mortuary.

Following the incident, Mwala was arrested but later on, released on police bail. His vehicle a Toyota Axio, is being detained at Kaloleni Police Station.

Officers say he was drunk during the 11pm accident. Boda Boda riders who were present at the scene of accident wanted to attack the actor forcing police to fire in the air. His car was vandalised and its battery stolen.

This is not the first time Mwala is being involved in accident. In 2017, the Citizen TV actor was hospitalised following a horrible road accident along Mombasa Road near Athi River.
