Longtime music rivals Alikiba and Diamond Platnumz have finally met after years of a heated beef between them.

The two Bongo artistes met on Sunday at the funeral of late Tanzanian video vixen and socialite Agnes Masogange who died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dar es Salaam.

Alikiba and Diamond exchanged pleasantries as they shook hands, something that many of their fans have been waiting to see happen.

The two artistes who have always attracted hate and love in equal measure from listeners of their music have been said to have a bad relationship and have not been seeing eye to eye for many years.

Diamond recently spoke on Times FM’s The Playlist which is hosted by Lil Ommy and he set the record straight that there has never been beef between him and Alikiba, but blamed it all on people who don't mean well for them.

The music sensation added that beefing with Alikiba would not add anything to his life and that he had resolved to quash any beef he had with anyone. Alikiba on his side has never talked about it.

Alikiba and Diamond's handshake comes barely three days after Diamond congratulated him and wished him a happy marriage.
