He speaks!

Tanzanian artistes Diamond Platnumz with Harmonize

WCB singer Rajab Abdul Kahali popularly known as Harmonize has disclosed that he was once told he was not talented and music was not his thing.

In his latest song called ‘Never give up’, the singer talks of how he grew up dreaming of becoming a footballer but somewhere along the way, the dream changed to music.

In the process he went for a talent search and the judges said he was not talented after he performed dismally in the auditions.

According to Harmonize, some people said he was egoistic after Diamond Platnumz spotted him and decided to help him, but he kept on praying to God hoping that one day he would be a star.

Let me tell you my story, nimezaliwa Mtwara Tanzania, huko kijijini Chitoholi hapa mjini nimezamia. Ndoto zilikuwa kucheza boli mara ghafla kwa mziki zikahamia, my dad I’m sorry, swala tano hukupenda uliposikia. Kama utani si nikaanza kuimba Mungu si athumani nikapatana na simba akanipiga company japo kuna waliopinga kwamba sina kipaji. Fitina za ndani ndani mara Harmo anavimba atapendwa na nani Mmakonde wa Tandahimba nikajipa tu Imani ipo siku nitashinda maana mola ndio mpaji,” sings Harmonize in the song.

He goes on to say that now he is blessed and encouraged other people to not give up because God is watching.

He goes on to thank the people that stuck with him through his musical journey, insisting that life is a journey and he is not yet there.
