Citizen TV political affairs reporter Jacque Maribe got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jowi, on Saturday.

In a video shared by one of her closest friends Terryanne Chebet, an emotional Maribe is seen seated next to Jowi with a ring on.

The video was captioned “#Shesaidyes. Congratulations @JacqueMaribe and Jowi”

The mother of one has always kept her dating life a mystery from the public eye and many thought she was dating the Secretary of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President, Dennis Itumbi.

The two have been close friends and at one time Mr. Itumbi interrupted a live news broadcasting on Citizen TV to present a birthday cake Ms. Maribe, who was at the time anchoring the news.
