Though Jane and Abdillahi make a marriage between two people professing different religions look easy, it hasn’t been a walk in the park due to outside forces.

In a past interview with True Love Magazine, Jane disclosed that there was a lot of pressure for her to convert, change her dressing and her name too. “He would be asked why I haven’t converted; I would be told stuff about my dressing and changing my name too.”

But the two were able to jump over these hurdles by sharing their frustrations together and communicating openly. “Share your frustrations and learn when to listen to people and when not to. As long as the two of you are OK, then you can carry on,” She advised.
