K24 Investigative reporter quits

Mediamax owned K24 TV’s Crimes and Investigative reporter Franklin Wallah has called it quits.

Announcing his departure from the station, Wallah said that he has had three and a half wonderful years working at the Television station and it is time for change.

He went on to say that he will miss his colleagues from the Mediamax, while at the same time promising his fans of a comeback soon.

Hey There… Let's shift here.... Today serves the day I did my last Special Report on K24Tv. It has been awesome and real the last 3 and half years... I will sure miss you guys... Mwaaaah. But you know what???? Don't forget to watch me next..... SOON!!!!!!!,” he wrote on Facebook.

Franklin Wallah, however, did not reveal where he is headed to and the reasons for his sudden departure, barely a week after his return from Somalia, where he covered the progress of AMISOM in the fight against Al Shabaab.

Before joining K24, Franklin worked as a news reporter with State broadcaster, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)

He becomes the latest person to leave the Mediamax, after the departure of Joyce Gituro who was the company’s Head of Radio.

Ms Gituro confirmed she left the Kenyatta owned media group while responding to a fan who wanted to know if the reports of her departure were true.

She went on to say that she left the media group because of personal reasons.
