Khaligraph and Octopizzo to go head-to-head amid heated beef

Will the sizzling rivalry for hip-hop supremacy between Octopizzo and The OG Khaligraph Jones come to a boil ?

Refiloe Maele Phoolo popularly known as Cassper Nyovest is one of the most prominent figures in the South African hip-hop scene. He has released three studio albums namely “Tsholofelo”, “Refiloe” and “Thuto”. “Rapper Nyovest, known for his club banging breakthrough hit ‘Doc Shebeleza, has spent a considerable part of his career perfecting his versatility and style. He was awarded the “Most Gifted Male”, “Most Gifted Southern Artist”, and “Most Gifted Videos of the Year” at the 2014 Channel O Music Awards

Cassper who just concluded his Fill-up-the-dome tour, filling the Orlando Stadium with 60,000 pax and following it up with a 68,000 pax audience at the FNB Arena solidifying his reputation of delivering show-stopping stage performances across the continent and the world.

It will be interesting to see whether the sizzling rivalry for hip-hop supremacy between Octopizzo and The OG Khaligraph Jones will come to a boil at the first concert they are going head to head at this year. Another interesting head to head showdown is expected between Dj Protégé and DJ Xclusive both consummate masters of their craft.

Holding it down for the queens is the phenomenal Fena Gitu and turntablist DJ Malaika. Fena Gitu is the most sought-after femcees and recently shared the stage with Africa’s musical royalty at the One Africa Fest in Dubai.

Rounding off the live acts at the concert is Steph Kapela, the voice of new Nairobi and the epitome of vocal versatility. As a rapper and singer, he is Kenya’s best kept secret and The Great Republik cannot wait to introduce him to our audience.
