KTN News twitter account suspended

Kenya’s 24 hour news channel KTN news’ Twitter account has been suspended.

The news of the TV station’s suspension broke on Tuesday morning, but the reason for the suspension still remains unclear.

Before the suspension, the TV station enjoyed a following of slightly more than 469 thousand.

Cyprian Nyakundi

This comes a few months after controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi’s account was suspended for violating twitter rules.

Nyakundi tweeted naked photos of a top boss at a popular media company, who was in a rather compromising situation with two women.

"Hello Cyprian, Is Nyakundi, Your account C_Nyakundi has been suspended for violating Twitter Rules. Specifically for violating our rules against posting or sharing intimate photos or videos of someone that were produced without their consent," the message from Twitter read in part.
