Larry Madowo makes changes after terminating contract with Nation

New developments after NTV's Larry Madowo terminated contract with Nation

The award winning journalist edited his Twitter bio to read “Truth-Teller” as if to affirm his commitment to say the truth and share his mind as a journalist.

Madowo has enjoyed an impressive career with the Aga Khan owned media house, rising through the ranks.

His Twitter bio previously read “Technology editor and news anchor, NTV weekend edition”.

It is not clear what influenced the changes or whether the outspoken journalist has relinquished other roles that were captured o his Twitter bio.

Madowo fell out with Nation after it declined to publish one of his articles in which he criticized state agencies following the crack-down on the media which saw several television stations switched off.

The same article was published by CNN with the celebrated journalist terminating his contract with Nation shortly afterwards.

Madowo served as a columnist for the paper for a period of four years, with his works published under the 'Front Row' column.
