Her family also played an integral role in her comeback as her husband David Muguro helped her come out of her shell and handled the logistics of her career as her manager and in her marriage.
“…marriage has totally changed me. I used to be such a conservative introvert, totally stuck in my ways, but my husband has totally challenged my way of thinking. We work as a team, he handles all the logistics, and half the time I don’t even know what’s happening I just see the results.” She told the newspaper.
Her children from her marriage of about 9 years Ranise Muguro and Tevita Muguro have also helped her grow as a person. During the interview, Mercy said that ‘Having kids has made her appreciate the power of giving and living for the sake of others.’
