I was rushed to the emergency room after hosting the Trend - Njambi Koikai

She has been through a lot.

Aside from the debilitating pain and collapsed lungs, Njambi went on to lose opportunities, relationships and even ended up in some crazy relationships.

“Endometriosis ravaged me from the onset of my period. I learnt to live with it. I learnt to work with it. I learnt to scream and enjoy myself on radio and when I couldn't work I'd call in sick. I learnt to chin up and read the news on TV with it. I learnt to live with pain. Pain has been a part of me for so long. I've lost great opportunities because of this pain. I was dumped because of this pain and I ended up in some crazy relationships. I've been receiving treatment and the healing process has not been easy. Endometriosis ravaged my body.” Part of her post read.

She also revealed that there was a time she was hosting The Trend, looking as beautiful as can be only to end up in the emergency room because of the condition.

“A little throwback to the day I hosted the Trend on NTV. I was so sick while doing this show and was rushed to the emergency right afterwards.” She disclosed.

This was that episode where she wore peach-ish dress, pearls, had her hair up in a bun and had hosted Nviiri the Storyteller who co-wrote the song ‘Melanin’.
