On Monday, a top News anchor affiliated to NTV Uganda interrupted live broadcasting to announce her engagement on live TV.

Flavia Tumusiime who hosts a morning talk show on NTV surprised her viewers with news of her engagement, at a time she was supposed to link up with a reporter who was in the field.

Ecstatic

An excited Flavia could not hide her joy of being engaged to her longtime boyfriend Andrew Kabuura who also happens to be a media personality.

“Over the weekend I got engaged” shared Flavia prompting her co-host Malaa Kivila Odera to join her with ululations and congratulatory messages.

The attention of the show shifted to the news anchor making it hard for the producer of the show to link them up with a reporter who was on stand-by in the field.

Surprise

Asked to share how the engagement went down,Flavia Tumusiime  had this to say,“It was a nice surprise. I will be honest, I hate surprises because I never know how to react. I was dumb founded. I kept quiet for a bite. I did cry but am looking forward to it,” s

Her co-host encouraged her to join the marriage union terming it as a good thing.
