NTV’s Salim Swaleh in trouble with ‘Kanjo’ as his car gets clamped down

On Thursday, NTV News anchor Salim Swaleh found himself on the wrong side of the law after his car a Jeep was clamped down by County Askaris.

In a post seen by Pulselive.co.ke, Swaleh shared photos of his car that had been clamped down by Nairobi County parking attendants for failure to pay parking fee.

“Kanjooooo....Nitafungua tyre niweke spare na nibebe hii na hiki kidude chenu” shared Salim Swaleh.

County Askaris

County Askaris have a tendency of clamping down vehicles that fail or even delay payment of daily parking fees in the CBD.

The clamp down attracted mixed reactions among his Insta-followers, a section asking him to live up to his status and pay the parking fee while others dared him to actualize his threats.

Swaleh started his journey in the media industry way back in January 2008 and worked as a Radio Presenter at Sauti ya Mwananchi radio until January 2009.

From February 2009 - March 2016 he worked as an International Journalist (Radio Presenter) and Analyst at Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)

In March 2016, he joined Citizen TV as a Swahili news anchor and Editor, until June 7th 2018.
