But it seems that bribing his women with cars does not work for everybody as we learnt from his new song ‘Sikomi’. In the song, Diamond talks about his ex VJ Penny who he dated before getting back with Wema for the umpteenth time. He reveals how his ex aborted his baby even after he tried bribing her with a new car to keep it.
“Achana na Penny wa Darling, nilimuhonga na gari aliponiambia ana mimba mwisho wa siku akaichomoa chali!” He sings in anguish. (Leave Penny alone! I tried bribing her with a car when I discovered she was pregnant but in the end, she aborted our baby.)
Penny and Diamond dated back in 2013 till they discovered that they were cousins. When they were dating a relative revealed to the two that they were related so marriage would be impossible as Diamond’s grandmother and Penny’s grandmother were sisters!

Diamond also laments that despite going through a rough time with his exes he mistreated the one woman who treated him well, Zari.

A scandal that ended up in the media. My heart tells me I have found true love in her but I am still struggling to fight what my soul wants.)
