According to Joe’s version of the Story, he was shot while dropping his girlfriend Jacque Maribe at her Royal Park Estate residence where three men on a motorcycle were waiting at the gate.
Following the Incident, police questioned the Citizen TV anchor, who confessed to the police that she drove Irungu to Nairobi West hospital on Friday after he was shot.
However, Neighbours said that they didn’t hear any gunshots and police couldn't find cartridges at the scene, which raised detective's suspicion on his story.
