Why I dumped law for radio - Classic 105 presenter

The top presenter has spilled it all.

After one and a half years at Hot 96, Muikamba moved on to bigger things,

Law school

But though she is making a killing in radio after only a few years, Terry had not seen herself pursuing radio as a career though she had a brief stint in radio at 17. At 18, Terry joined Law school before changing her mind for media and communication.

She joined Homeboyz Academy where she honed her skills in radio and after two years of working she returned to law school but radio came calling once again.

Unbridled passion

So why did Terry break up with law in the first place for Radio? Well, it’s because she has an unbridled passion for Radio. “It is all about passion. I also think people are created in such a way that they can do so many things.” She disclosed to Word Is.

But although she is not an active lawyer, Terry hopes to pursue it later in life as she has a passion for Environmental Law.

“I still say that maybe later in life I will go back to law, but right now what I breath, what I wake up thinking about, is radio. But it is okay to pursue as many courses as possible.” She added.
