Its dumb to blame the president for letting the China plane into the country – Vera Sidika

Kenyan Businesswoman Vera Sidika has asked Kenyans to stop blaming President Uhuru Kenyatta for the Chinese plane that jetted into the country weeks ago, saying it was dumb to do so.

Ms Vera revealed that she was debating with a lot of people who thought allowing the plane in the country was the source of the Coronavirus cases. She stated that cancelling flights from all countries would help curb the outbreak and not just cancelling one route.

“So many people busy blaming the President for letting the flight from China into the country and that’s dumb. Been debating with everyone telling me this and they think they make sense, honestly if anything was to be done at all would be to cancel all flights from everywhere not just one route how do y’all even reason” read her post.

This comes after Vera shared a screenshot where someone texted her, telling her that things would be different in the country if the plane had been restricted from getting into the country.

The socialite went ahead to inform the person that Coronavirus didn’t come from the flight and neither did it come from a Chinese nationality. She further added that even if the Government stopped the China plane, someone in China could fly to UK with the Virus and still land in Kenya.

She said the situation couldn’t be controlled and asked people to stop blaming the Government.

"Now China planes has stopped but the one from UK is allowed in still bringing the virus, You cant control the situation at all, People should stop blaming the Government" read her response.
