We first came across Victoria Kimani’s Nigerian beau during her 2016 birthday dinner at the Marion on Nicol Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A birthday party we learned was thrown by her beau Stanley who also directed her ‘My Money’ video. We came to learn that her then boyfriend is the director of S.O.S media, a reputable South African media content company that deals with the production and distribution of media content such as music videos and documentaries.
Now Victoria has revealed that she and Stanley are no longer an item and have been broken up for six months and if you go through their Instagram profiles you will notice that all their photos as a couple have been deleted.
But just coz she is single, it doesn’t mean she wants to mingle yet.
“My love life has actually non-existent. I have not been in a relationship for like 6 months and I haven’t bothered to like try and find someone else. They (guys who DM her) are trying to hit that but that’s not what I want.” She disclosed on the Let’s Talk show.
The ‘Mtoto’ singer also revealed that dating a celebrity is a no-no for now because it’s pretty chaotic dating one and she is just not up for that kind of drama in her life. “It is a bad idea to date celebrities I have tried it one time in my life, it’s hard because you have to start thinking about who is watching or who is paying attention.Honestly, I thought it was a good idea at first because we have so much in common like if I’m in the studio late they will understand that you are in the studio late. Because there are some guys who hear you are in the studio at 2 am they think you are with some guy. There are certain cool things like having many things in common but honestly, I don't want that (a celeb relationship). There are too many groupies. Yo! It’s real. These guys have all the girls in the world at their disposal.”
