Here are seven things to stop wasting your time on.

1.Being in a relationship with someone just because you are bored or lonely

It is a waste of time. You aren’t really into the person so you’re not only wasting your time but their time as well. Needless to say, it is a bit selfish.

2.Trying to solve everyone’s problems

You can’t solve every little problem that comes your way. Sometimes it is okay to sit back and let other people solve their own problems. There is only so much that you can do to help them out.

3.Trying to win every conversation that you have with people

Learn to accept that you can’t always be right. You are not perfect.

4.Doing something just because it makes your parents happy

It is very easy to find yourself in a predicament where you want to please your parents so badly that you forget about your own happiness. If it doesn’t make you happy then let them know how you truly feel instead of trapping yourself in a situation that you might end up regretting in the long run.

Yes, parents always want the best for us but at some point, you will have to make the hard decisions for yourself.

5.Constantly complaining about something that you could have already changed

Complaining without action is useless. Complain, get it off your chest, find a solution and act upon it otherwise you’re just wasting your time.

6.Creating fake problems so that you don’t have to deal with your real problems

Ignoring your real problems only masks them for a little while. The best way to deal with them is to face them head on and get it over and done with.

7.Trying to make someone love you when they are not interested in you

Yeah, you don’t need a genius to tell you that loving someone that doesn’t love you back is a complete waste of time – painful but a complete waste of time.
