Would you rock these fringed braid styles?
Man, there’s so much more out there than just the usual pencil sized or chunky braids, twists or cornrows. I loved the way woke Kenyans are getting creative with their hair be it by adding extensions with Marley hair, adorning the hair with beads or even thinking out of the box like using safety pins to accessorize the hair.
Evidently, there’s a lot that we black women can do with our hair. We just have to be open to trying out different stuff and experimenting with stand out styles. One such style is braids with bangs. Bangs are common especially with weave and wig styles. However, braid bangs are not as common. With fringed braids, the hair is braided as normal, but then the front part is braided into a fringe so that you have some braids dangling on your forehead. You can choose to add beads to the braids since beaded braids are still quite on trend, or not. This style makes your facial features such as the eyes and cheek bones pop and is also quite versatile as you can style the braids in many ways. You can leave the braids down, tie them up into space buns, a top knot bun, knot them into a fishtail, add a turban or hat, etc.
