As we age, our skin develops fine lines and wrinkles – which is not so pleasant especially if they appear much earlier. There are creams and lifestyle habits you can observe to prevent and reduce the signs of ageing.
But if you already have the wrinkles on your skin and they are probably giving you sleepless nights because you do not know how to deal with them, all is not lost. There are still tricks you can use to hide the fine lines and wrinkles on your skin:
1. Invest in a good moisturizer
Your skin’s needs changes as you grow older. The older you become, the more you need to invest in beauty products. The skin dries out as we age and thus needs to be moisturized generously every time you cleanse your face and before wearing makeup. This will prevent further drying that makes the fine lines more visible. To keep it hydrated both from the inside and outside, also make sure you drink enough water.

2. Don’t forget your neck
The neck is one of the areas that age faster than other body parts and is thus likely to develop fine lines and wrinkles. This is also one of the body parts that we tend to forget more during our daily skincare routine and that shouldn’t be the case. When moisturizing, make sure you don’t leave out your neck. Put on some makeup on the neck too not just for blending but also to conceal the creases.
3. Go slow on powder or skip it anyway
Just a little dusting is enough to set your makeup without having the powder settle in your fine lines. When powder settles on your pores and fine lines, all the attention is drawn towards the lines and it definitely makes you look much older. If it does not bother you, you can as well choose to do away with it.
4. Work on your eyes
This is another area that shows your age. You want to avoid things that draw attention to this area such as false eyelashes and glittery eye makeup. To give your eyelashes more volume and make them seem more refreshed, just curl them and use some mascara. Since glittery makeup will settle on the fine lines on your eyelids, go for matte eye-shadow or a thin layer of concealer.
