1.You are at a higher risk of getting a heart attack
Sleeping for more than eight hours increases your chances of dying by 34 percent.
2.You are more likely to struggle with your weight
Sleeping too much can also be linked to being obese or overweight. You’re more likely to be obese if you sleep longer.
A theory goes that long sleepers have a shorter period to be active, thus the increased weight gain.
3.You might get diabetes
Diabetes is more common in people that sleep longer. This is linked to the fact that long sleepers are more likely to be obese and obesity can put one at risk of getting diabetes – catch the drift.
4.You get headaches
Oversleeping can also cause one to get headaches or wake up feeling groggy. You know how you can sleep for a long time and wake up feeling tired and feel sick? Yeah, that’s because of oversleeping and not a lack of sleep.
5.You are more likely to be depressed
Oversleeping could be a symptom of depression.
