Urinating is a bodily function and it’s totally normal. However, peeing too frequently is not normal at all and you could have underlying issues. Today, we will break down some of the causes of frequent urination in men, so if you’re a guy that’s peeing a little too often, then we have the answers as to why that could be the reason:

1. Diabetes.

One of the most common causes of frequent urination in men is diabetes. As you already know, when the glucose levels get too high, your body tries to flush out the extra glucose through urination. Due to this process, diabetes patients have to rush to the washroom more frequently.

When you exercise, the impurities present in your body get out through sweating. Therefore, to keep your body hydrated, you tend to drink more water which results in frequent trips to the washrooms.

3. Bladder cancer.

Bladder cancer can make you rush to the washroom again and again. It may get quite uncomfortable to pee due to bladder cancer.

4. Prostate cancer.

Any type of cancer in the pelvic area can affect the urethra, leading to a frequent urge to urinate.

5. Urinary Tract Infection.

Having a UTI may lead to frequent urination if left untreated for a long time. They could also experience a little discomfort and itching each time they urinate.
