This is what 5 top celebs wore to their weddings (photos)

Janet Mbugua and Eddie Ndichu.

Well... other than Nyota Ndogo and her epic makeup failure. At least it something good came out of it, she landed her a deal with a cosmetic company.

Still, when a girl walks down the aisle, she's invested her time, money and heart to make sure that it is the most dazzling, most unforgettable event of her life.

Our Kenyan celebs have proven to be tasteful when it comes to holding stylish weddings. Here are a few to inspire your own.

1. Janet Mbugua and Eddie Ndichu

In a lavish affair at Chaka Ranch, Eddie wed Janet, who is arguably one of the most top paid news anchors in Kenya.

Dressed in a white lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline, Janet blew hearts away with her content and blissful smile walking down the aisle to the love of her life, the commercial big wig, Eddie Ndichu. The groom, on the other hand, wore a stone gray tuxedo and complemented it with a black bow tie and flowers to his lapel.

2. Bob Collymore and Wambui Kamiru

Communication top dog Robert Collymore has always been a mystery to his rather extensive following. His style and friendly personality for a man of accolades have not only left Kenyans bedazzled by his charisma but humbled by his down-to-earth persona. So imagine how shocked we were when news hit the airwaves that THE Bob Collymore has gone off and married a pretty Wambui Kamiru in the most unexpected way ever! Instead of the super expensive grandeur of a party, the two lovebirds opted for a small and simple wedding. Adorned in white linen, soulmates exchanged their vows in a closed off invite only affair.

3. Sarah Hassan and Martin Dale

She is one of the most beautiful female TV hosts and actresses Kenya has ever birthed. Her voluptuous curves and gorgeous smile that complement her witty persona made Sarah a homestead sweetheart. It's probably why the handsome Martin Dale whisked her away in a lavish garden wedding. The former Tahidi high actress was adorned in a white sweetheart neckline sheath dress with an outrageously long train. Her husband? A black tuxedo.

4. Sharon Mundia and Lonina Leteipan

Theirs is a love that broke the internet. As the story goes, Sharon was a heartbroken girl trying out her hand in blogging when she gained fame. She became a highly sort after beauty, the girl of a lot of men's dreams. Maybe it's the reason why Lonina flew her to the to the foot of Mt. Kenya to ask for her hand in marriage. And on the beach with a beautiful line of bridesmaids to stand by her, Ess who was dressed is a sexy peplum silk wedding gown said yes to her beau in a white tuxedo.

5. Pinky Ghelani and Raj Sehmi

10 years and two beautiful babies later, media sensation Pinky Ghelani and her husband Raj Sehmi renewed their wedding vows in a glorious event. Dressed in nude shear holding a milk white bouquet, Pinky and her favorite guy made new memories on a beach.
