Any food that you’ve already defrosted

Especially meats or chicken. Once defrosted, you should never return the thawed food into the freezer. Doing this can attract harmful bacteria to the meat.

If already thawed, cook the meat and return it back to the freezer.

Yoghurt

Freezing yoghurt tends to change its texture as it will separate after being thawed. This basically makes it terrible for drinking. You can however cook with it.

Cheese

Cheese already has a great fridge life so there’s no need to place it in the freezer. Hard cheese becomes brittle in the freezer while soft cheese crystalizes while in the freezer.

Soda

Putting soda in the freezer seems like an easy way to get it chilled faster but it can actually prove dangerous. The aluminum can explode.
