Some women enjoy sex during their period.
They are more aroused during that time of the month owing to their hormones and studies have shown that orgasms can help ease the pain of menstrual cramps and bloating.
If you and your partner want to have period sex, you should consider the following.
The flow works as lubrication
Obviously, during menstruation, blood flows from the uterus. The blood can work as extra lubrication and should be used to that advantage.
Skin is more sensitive
During this time, foreplay should be key as your skin is more sensitive. Unexpected body parts can end up becoming erogenous zones.
Use special sheets or a towel
Period sex can get messy, therefore if you're doing it in a bed, use special sheets or law out a towel so as not to ruin your beddings.
Don't use a tampon during penetrative sex
Always remove a tampon when you have vaginal sex. Otherwise if having oral, or anal sex, you can retain the tampon.
