This can be a good or a bad thing altogether. If your father had to make several visits to the dentist due to dental problems, you most likely will be a victim too. But if your mother had crooked teeth, you should be glad that your father passed the genes of an amazing dental structure to you.
3. Eye color
Ever heard someone say that you have the eyes of your dad? Even though both the mom and dad affect the eye color of the baby, the father’s genes have more effect. Even so, in cases where one parent has darker eyes, the kid will inherit the darker shade.

4. Mental health
Unlike women, men’s DNA change as they grow old affecting the genes they pass to their children. Older men with schizophrenia are more likely to pass the disease to their children.
5. Heart problems
All fathers carry some traits to be passed to their male children. If a father carries the heart problems genes, they are more likely to pass it to their male children. Since the heart disease genes are only present in the Y chromosome, fathers can’t pass the gene to their daughters.
