Moments after Raila Odinga officially announced his withdrawal from the October 26 repeat presidential elections, Kenyans took to social media to demand their refund from the NASA leader.
In September, Odinga launched a fundraising initiative to finance his presidential campaign for the repeat election.

Odinga urged his supporters to send whichever amount of money they had to support his cause through MPESA Paybill number 991444.
In just a week after the launch of the funds drive, the coalition netted a record Sh20 million.

However, after the latest developments, Kenyans wondered what will now become of their contribution with many calling on the NASA leader to refund them their monies now that the repeat elections will not take place in on October 26 as scheduled.
Most of them urged Odinga to publicly come forward and state what the fate of their hard earned money was.
However, others ridiculed those who contributed saying that their money was already gone.
