Treasury CS Henry Rotich was a relatively calm guest of the state on Monday night at Muthaiga Police Station, police sources have stated.
CS Rotich, who ended up sharing a cell with his PS Kamau Thugge, is said to have mingled freely with other suspects including his PS during their few hours behind bars.
The two government officials are said to have been chatty from the time they were detained and only fell asleep after 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The cell the two shared reportedly had one mattress, one blanket and a table.
The police officers who spoke to Standard also reported that he and the PS expressed their understanding of why the National Police Service requested funds to renovate holding facilities.
"He seemed relaxed and ready for anything. He and the PS understood, from their experience, why the police have been in need of money to construct and renovate police facilities," one officer noted.
