Joho wins big after new announcement by government

The government-owned broadcaster wanted Joho jailed for contempt of court over the demolition of a fence put up around Bombolulu which was about 22 acres.

However, KBC withdrew the case after Joho's lawyer  Lucy Momanyi, told the court that both parties had reached an agreement.

Read Also:  JOHO FORCES MOHAMMED ALI TO MAKE HARD DECISION Momanyi stated that the two parties had agreed to focus on the main application - who owns the land. "We want the main application to be heard to determine who is the owner of the plot in question," said Ms Momanyi.

KBC had sued Joho and two county executives for disobeying a court order allowing it to erect a fence around a contested 22 acres in Nyali.
