Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has been handed a major boost after Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), which is owned by the state, withdrew a case against him.
The government-owned broadcaster wanted Joho jailed for contempt of court over the demolition of a fence put up around Bombolulu which was about 22 acres.
However, KBC withdrew the case after Joho's lawyer Lucy Momanyi, told the court that both parties had reached an agreement.
