A politician from Baringo County affiliated to the Jubilee Party was on Thursday night found dead at Ol Donyo Sabuk near 14 falls in Matungulu, Machakos County.

Thomas Minito, the ward representative of Churo Amaya had been missing for three days.

According to police, the MCA had decomposed beyond recognition. However, they identified him with using documents he was carrying including a URP party member’s card.

Police at the scene confirmed that his body had injuries on the head and neck believed to have been caused by a blunt object.
