Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna on Saturday finally unveiled his running mate ahead of the August 8 General Election.

James Gathungu, a former Laikipia University student leader will be the next Deputy Governor of Nairobi County if Miguna wins the poll.

Miguna made the unveiling at the intercontinental hotel, Nairobi.

Earlier Miguna tweeted: “As a transformative revolutionary & The Chancellor of Integrity, I practice what I preach. I'll unveil my youthful running mate”.

Gathungu is a 24-year-old and will be the youngest Deputy Governor if Miguna is elected.

The Canadian-based lawyer has vowed to ouster incumbent Governor Evans Kidero.

Miguna is running as an independent candidate.
