Though a simple visit, which many could view as a noble act by a President, a Nominated Mombasa Senator took the opportunity to bring to light disturbing details linked to Mr. Kenyatta.

Emmah Mbura, who recently ditched Jubilee Party for Maendeleo Chap Chap, complained that the Head of State ignored her texts when she was in a near death situation.

Lamenting on the President’s picture capturing his visit to Shebesh, the Senator noted that when she had gone to Germany for a brain surgery, she contacted the Head of State but he never responded.

Ms. Mbura accused President Kenyatta of being bias on the people he showed affection to in the Party.

“I am Senator Emma Mbura. When I went for brain surgery in Germany, I sent a text to my president. It was a death and life surgery. He never responded. I love our president and I still support him. Uhuru penda watu wako wote,” Ms Mbura posted on Facebook.

After the visit, the President posted: “Visited Rachel Shebesh who is recovering at a hospital in Nairobi. Get well soon dear sister”.

The nominated Senator is contesting for the Rabai parliamentary seat on a Maendeleo Chap Chap ticket.

When she defected from Jubilee, Mbura claimed that the there was a point man in the party frustrating her ambitions 'because she was a woman'.
